Secret Double Octopus is looking for an accomplished IT Engineer, with some DevOps experience or an interest in expanding their career to DevOps.
What will you do?
- Be responsible for operating and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure (Physical and Virtual).
- Handle and support Microsoft-based & Linux-based environments.
- Support the R&D environment and daily IT support tickets.
- Provide end-user support for local and remote users.
- Automate processes and tasks using various scripting languages and tools.
- SaaS applications administration.
- Manage all IT-related activities.
- You will have an opportunity to learn/extend your DevOps skills and work with production AWS-based SaaS systems.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience in Linux with good problem-solving skills.
- Experience in managing Microsoft infrastructure (Windows servers and clients, Active Directory, SQL Server, Exchange, DHCP, DNS, IIS, GPO)
- Networking knowledge and understanding: TCP/IP protocols, switches, VLANs, VPNs and Firewalls
- Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere & vCenter installation, management, design, and implementation.
- Good interpersonal skills and communication
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Ability to lead tasks and missions without direct supervision
Advantage:

- Shell scripting proficiency (Bash/PowerShell).
